A Research and Engineering Corporation
Raydec, Inc. was started by Clin Lashway in 1988 with the original
name of Lashway Instruments. Initially, Lashway Instruments produced the I-V
Curve Tracer and performed data acquisition system development and custom power
supplies for photovoltaic applications.
In early 1992, Lashway Instruments was incorporated under the name Raydec. Work
has continued in photovoltaics, but Raydec has branched out into other areas
such as eddy-current non-destructive testing. We also supply analog and digital
design and egineering expertise.
Clin Lashway is
the senior electronic engineer and company president. Clin manages engineering
operations and heads up electronic and software design.
Raydec also uses consultants and resources as
additional assets to meet the needs of our customers.
Raydec is located in sunny Albuquerque, New Mexico next to the
beautiful Sandia mountains and Rio Grande river. Our location serves us well.
There are several renowned laboratories in our area. Sandia NationalLaboratory
is located in Albuquerque and Los Alamos Laboratory is approximately2 hours
north.
The University of New Mexico (UNM) is also in Albuquerque and New Mexico State
University (NMSU) is located about 4 hours south in Las Cruces, NM. Both of
these universities have well respected engineering and research programs that
Raydec can use to augment our capabilities.
